Tournament Day Checklist
ITEMS:

___  Lifejacket - If you forget this you may not be able to fish at all.

___  Tournament Rules - Always bring a copy and review before the tournament.  No where the out-of-bounds locations are.

___  Lake & Contour  Maps - Have these in your dashboard or someplace handy.  Have your GPS coordinates pre-programmed or readily available with 1st and 2nd choice spots marked.

___  Fishing License (s) - A must, be sure you have read the tournament rules to find out which ones you need.

___  Raingear - Remember, at 60mph + on a bass boat, the cheap stuff will not cut it.

___  Clothing - Always bring a light sweater, and plan on layering so you can peel layers off throughout the day.

___  Sunglasses - A must, polarized.

___  Food & Drink - Light snack or sandwich, granola bars, Gatorade or water (no soda).

___ Sunscreen - Rub this on as soon as you get ready in the morning, and then again during the day.

___ First Aid Kit - A small first aid kit with the following:
Band-Aids
Antiseptic or Iodine
Gauze Pads
Tylenol/Advil
Tums/Imodium
Medical Tape
Specific Allergy Medication - Bee Stings,
 Benedryl, Epi-Pen, etc.

___ Safety Kit - A few items that can help: Flare Kit, Gasoline Siphon, Jumper Cables

___  Driving Directions

___  Hotel Confirmations

___  Phone Numbers - Tournament Director & Registration, Hotel, Partners, etc.

___  Food for Travel & Tournament Day (s) - Water, Sports Drink, Snacks.

___  Boat/Trailer Kit - Jack, Spare Tire, Fix-A-Flat, Travel Tool Kit, AAA Card

___  Extra Prop (s) - For both main motor and trolling motor.  Doesn't hurt to have an extra bushing/washer/screw for main prop (you will lose more of these than props).

___  Extra Trolling Motor
- Based on affordability and room.

___  Tools - Have necessary tools in boat to change out both main motor prop and trolling motor props.  Also have electrical wire stripper/all-in-one tool for potential electrical problems.

___  Batteries
- Fully charged before you leave.  Double check your inboard charger and make sure in good working order.

___  Extension Chord
- Long enough to charge the batteries up at the hotel.

___  Favorite Music - Sounds Goofy, but it helps to get you in a good mood, motivated, and into that zone while you are traveling.

___  Tackle - Extra Everything, especially for the big tournaments in which you've invested so much time and money.
