Spinnerbaits - Rod Choice

The best overall spinnerbait rig is a 6’ 6” medium heavy graphite or fiberglass rod with a fast or extra fast action tip. You may want to use a 6’ 10” rod if you know you will be in a larger section of a body of water and will be making long casts over deep cover and will need the leverage to get the fish out of the cover.
